    German Atom

Since I was recently asked by Steve to make my first post here to get my account fully activated, I use this to show you my solution for the rear wing mounting. So far this is just a cardboard prototype model on the pics, but the final alloy version is under manufacture right now. What do you think about it?

That's HUGE! Were it me I'd try putting it up higher to get less dirty air for it. Looks great though. Are you thinking of getting wider rubber in the rear Seems every time I go to the track it's so tail-happy that it's not very confidence inspring. A big wing and downforce might change that too I suppose.

    Thanks for the pics.

Yeah, it is 1840 mm / 72,4" wide, same as the width of the Atom.
The current position is already slightly higher than the original wing, induced by the extra width I hope there will be enough clean air.
However I can increase it anytime, if I feel I have to.
No plans for wide rubber so, far since the Motor is almost unmodified and generate "only" 320 HP. But I really like these wide tyres used on some turbo charged Atoms in the US.
