    capblaster in Fort Worth

Just checking in. I have had an Atom 2 / 245 for almost a year. I have both street and track miles, mostly Motorsport Ranch for the track. The one project I am kicking around is getting larger wheels and slicks for the track. I would like to have a larger fender solution first as I would need to drive to the track with slicks and prefer to have fender on it when I do. Other than that, I have not tinkered with it. I just get in and go.
I live in Fort Worth. My schedule is unusual in that I am off on Thurs and Fri. If anyone ever wants to make a run somewhere on one of these days, let me know.

How did you get 295mm wide R888's? Are your wheels 18" or 19"? According to the Toyo website, their sizes for R888's on 17" wheels jump from 275/40R17 to 315/35R17 with no intermediate step.

right 275. I dont know why my brain has been thinking 295. 295 would have fit the fender better though

    what's up capblaster.

spring's around the corner....we need to meet up and go for a ride.

since this is a much more private forum I think it's ok to say spanky's old atom that he sold locally has been totalled......so we are 1 less atom in DFW now.

not sure, he was just driving it and it lost control and hit a wall, thinking one of the rod ends failed, but couldn't find a smoking gun reason for the failure.
