Looks like this would be a great thing to keep behind the seat for a freak rainstorm or freak gasoline fights.

Polyester is NOT a material you want to catch fire while wearing. Yikes..
The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)
That's pretty cool though I gave up rain driving. your butt will get wet sitting in a seat filling up with water though since it is 2-piece. And I didnt pay much more for my one piece gortex motorcycle suit a few years back.
nevermind.... the price went up for what I have. That's about $300 more than I paid.

Sometimes driving the Atom in the rain feels like this:

A bit lightweight and too many zippers for my liking.
I think for any length of time in an Atom with persistent rain you need heavy duty PVC coated material with no stitching or seams double stitched, taped and electronically bonded. All zippers need to be behind wide flaps. Even then it will still probably leak if you're out in the rain at speed for too long.
