I just sold an old engine I had

It is a Buick 215 V8 from the early sixties. They were somewhat odd engines in that they were V8's and all aluminum. For their day very cool. i used to have one in an MGB and a BMW 1600, very fun!

I sold it to the record holder for 30" log cutting in under 1 second (I think that is what he said) and he is turning it into a chain saw ....

He told me that the Buick engine sans flywheel weights 308 lb and one of these saws weighs 550 lb. 39 of these saws exist and he has seven, well soon 40 (I did tell him that I have six more of them) Too cool, I have to go see one in action!
