    Powdercoat safe brake dust remover?

I changed pads on my Atom yesterday from race pads to HPS. I tried to clean the wheels while I had them off, and it was impossible to get some of the race pad dust off.

Any recommendations on a product that will remove the race pad dust from the TD wheels without destroying the powdercoat?

    Thanks,
    Jason

Its like an enamel coating, hard as hell, so feel free to use something like simple green http://www.simplegreen.com/products_all_wheel.php with a good scrub then follow with clay bar if still seeing problems.
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004UQQPTK

Then coat with some brake dust repellent like this http://www.amazon.com/Michelin%C2%AE.../dp/B005HF3SHK

I used it once on one wheel and used another wheel as a control. limited brake dust buildup by about 50%

I got a bottle of this - http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003UT3S6Q My detailer swears by it. I'll ask him about the repellent.

good stuff too. You'll probably need to clay bar out the most stubborn stuff though.
