Atom friendly clubs in the Northeast

Atom friendly clubs:


1. http://www.comscc.org/ -COMSCC,one of the oldest active competition car clubs in the country.(Read the clubs timeline section on the website,if you have ..time. ) Must be a member to attend ($35/yr.) Mostly two day events, and one three day July signature event, at various tracks in the N-E and Canada area.NHMS road track is the home track,and is a good place to start on track with an Atom.Technical,but at lower speeds. Good seat time,and open track after time trials on the second day,time limit permitting. Competition time trials held every event (rain or shine) Car classification by a set of rules on the website. Atom is T100 (stock) or in one of the super classes. Kinda confusing unless you are into spread sheets etc and is mostly honor system enforcement. SA2010 or better helmet; Atoms must have optional braced race roll bar (not just the scoop hoop)

2. Northeast Quattro, or NEQ. http://www.neqclub.org/ run two day events with the backing of North American Audi Club. Lots of on track time,instructors(I'm one..) will solo off good drivers. DOT rubber,unless you are an instructor.Full rollbar required.(no scoop hoop) Arm restraints required.(I lied on that one..but you really should use them..) SM2005 or better helmet. Watkins Glen, Limerock, Mt.Tremblant are standouts.

I have run with the following track day clubs in the NorthEast this season with the ACE SRA Car and have had a customer with an Atom 3 (with optional roll bar) run with these clubs as well.

The Atom 3 ran in the TTU group for time trials at the Watkins Glen NASA NE event. I am working with NASA to find a home for Atoms and SRA cars if the owners want to race and run time trials. They are very open to the Atom. Let me know if you have interest in participating and want more information.
