Hi guys ( and maybe girls ) ,
new member from Cambridge UK.

Decided to sign up and get chatting to people as I'm hoping to get into the atom scene.
im currently at the point of raising funds for an atom project so being a complete newbie on atoms I'll hopefully be gaining so insight from you guys, without being too much of a pain!

I come from a supra background where I've competed in UK Time Attack for a number of years and have now realised that although they are superb cars they are difficult to get round corners!

Hello, welcome to AAC. Given the lead times on UK prduction you should get a deposit in sooner than later. Once you have it though it should be pretty easy to have it cornering better than your Supra. Could be down on power perhaps, but improved braking and cornering should help that.

i'll probably start off with an N/A atom for reasonable money as I'd look to up the power eventually.
but I think I'll walk before running, as I'm used to a 1300kg car at the moment so I'm just looking forward to not having to brake before corners
