    Storage Ideas?

So I am short on space.

I have two cars in the drive way and one in the garage - which will probably stay in the garage. There is a possibility of another in the driveway.
The driveway cars are daily drivers, garage car is Track car/weekend car.

The AA will also be doing same duty track/weekend. So where to put it.

I am getting quote right now to extend the paved area around the house and the back yard.

I want to put a car port in the back yard which will be AAs home.

I am thinking something like a 10x20, with one window 8ft double doors and I would want to put a exhaust fan/fan and heater in there.

    Any other ideas?

This is my first step to the commitment I know the whole thing is costing and eating into the AA budget but it needs to be done. Pavers etc are costing a lot but that will keep the wify happy.

Any other elegant solutions to storage? I want it close to me

^hehehe..now that's funny. Out of the elements is the best way to keep anything mechanical. Temperature controlled is even better. I am ashamed how much I pamper my toys..but they do stay in much better overall condition..so for me worth the extra money and effort to shelter them the best I can.
I'm not sure what is in your garage, but from what you have described for potential storage, unless the other car is another Atom, that is where my new Atom would reside.
The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)

its about how much effort and money I have spent on the other car, more so about the effort. and its slightly bigger.

So if I move that to the back I'll need a bigger shelter, but I hear ya. Either way I will need to get it so one or the other car will be in the back.

you could buy an enclosed car hauler, then you get a garage and a hauler all in one 'little' package?

Not a bad thought, I just need to secure it so no one attaches it to their truck and drives away

I'm getting a Haulmark Low-Hauler, designed for bikes but also perfect for a small light racecar like the Atom. http://www.haulmark.com/low-hauler_motorcycle-trailer/

Like Cyberbug I'm short on space at my place so my car is going to be in a trailer ~15-25 miles away parked in storage. One of the joys of living in LA!
