Matt, there is a discussion at the back of the eBay rolling chassis thread regarding the uprights and your chassis as well. http://arielatomchat.com/forums/show...rolling-chasis FYI

Oh, don't look at the eBay chassis at the front of the thread, it will hurt your eyes semi permanently ...

    (Welcome Matt didn't sound right)

Your frame and the uprights have already been the topic of discussion. Dennis Palatov was making aftermarket uprights and bellcranks. Even the standard factory ones have been known to have issues if the car is tracked regularly. Randy, as he mentioned, has been down this road.
When raced very hard, the Brammo upright design was problematic in that the hubs and bearing at the rear of the car would fail. One of the reasons for going to different uprights was to use larger bearings. Here is a shot of the CNC'd aluminum upright on my car.

These were made by Tom Smurzynski in Oregon and have proven to be indestructible so far.

I've confirmed the uprights are from Ariel China (available for purchase as well). I have Tom's uprights as well and very happy

Damit I look at the chassis for the front of the thread "I CAN SEE" " MY EYE'S" LOL your right bad example of an Ariel chassis, But the intake looks like it will direct a lot of air If it doesn't blow off first. Aw that kinda mean maybe I shouldn't have said that. I really like those uprights, now those look bad ass, and heavy duty, how are they holding up for you Randy? and what kind of price are we talking about for those jewels. and Are those perfect to run at the track .

Palatov Motorsports (the guy you bought your chassis from) makes a rear billet replacement upright for the Atom2 as well. They are 1/2 the price of Toms, and every bit as rugged..maybe more..

I have tortured the Palatov uprights for many many on track laps with very wide, sticky tires, and have had zero issues. They accept fender mounts and parking brake setups,so streetable as well.
The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)

Tom took the uprights off his site so I dont think they are available anymore. But you could always give him a call

DP (dpcars.net) used to sell a set of uprights as well but his are not available anymore.

Best bet would be to get a standard set from TMI

My guess is that Tom or Dennis would make a set. More than likely Dennis will want to make them as a batch and will not be as inclined to make one set. I would try both. Tom's are beautiful and it is a shame they end up being covered up.

When you post a reply. Click "Manage Attachments" and that will let you specify a url or upload one. If they are too big it loads them as thumbnails. I will have to test, but, if I recall the limit is 800 x 600. I could be wrong. Sometimes I will use an outside host service when I don't want the files shrunk, but, that is a last resort as this forum should be its own stand alone
