Atom in it's element...

There are plenty of on track and rocket launch (0-60) type videos about. However I love this one I made years ago (2007). To me this is an Atom in it's natural element.

The quality is not great and the sound so bad I dubbed a local artist sound track over the terrible noise. Apart from that it's not messed with in any way. It's as the camera rolled.

This is what the road is like after 1:13. It's a regular cruise for me and great fun when you get a clean run without traffic.

Thanks, perfect. I wanted to see if I could drive the road with google street view. The end of the road has a nice view too

Yes that's Kawakawa Bay. When the video was shot, that's the direction I came from.

In street view the road looks an utter mess. A couple of years ago there was a huge deluge during winter that caused lots of slips. You could not actually get right through to Kawakawa Bay from the Clevedon side for a number of months. Google must have sent their car through at around that time. The seal is normally very clean and not all that clay around.
