The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)

Totaled the car a while back. somebody forced him off the road. :sad face:
So here is the current 3 front upright. DP thought that they were standard 3 uprights but they are not. So the forged uprights are probably china origin? It would sure be interesting to get info on them

"So the forged uprights are probably china origin?"
After looking closely at the pics on the Ebay auction (I can't seem to cut/paste them..) I would be willing to bet they are castings, and not forged units. BIG difference in strength. If these are indeed Chinese castings....I would be VERY careful using them..till they have been proven to be safe.

so the subject matter is not lost after eBay deletes all ...
Alcon brakes, Pirelli tyres and Lotus rims? That speaks to me of UK sources rather than Chinese. The uprights could be from some Seven variant. They show some unused mounting holes so were most likely not made exclusively for an Atom.
There also appears to be unused lower rear brackets for an engine mount that would give a clue to what the frame was originally.

Everyone will probably respond in unison "DUH!" to this, but just in case:
The extra holes in the rear uprights are obviously to make them "1 part fits either side" They're the mounting holes for the brake caliper, and with 2 sets, 1 on each side, you can use the same upright on either side of the car.

Confirmed these are chinese made
