The value of human life in some parts of the world astonishes me. And then at the same time, the Chinese government recently mandated HUDs on commercial aircraft in an attempt to increase safety.

If you have money, you will be protected. If you don't, and buy a knockoff, you're as good as dead.

Wonder how long that will last.....

That van video is particularly scary. Crap, the first vid shows that even coping the cars doesn't even get you some of the crumple zones!

Frank, if you do this to your vids we can play them from the forum [video.]xxx You need to remove the "decimal"

Well the doesn't seem to work anymore. Just use the video button then ... sorry

Maybe the car is some variant like the TMI spec racer. Wasn't there mention that the Chinese were going to make cars for a motorsport training series.

What is strange is that in the "Worldwide" section of the new factory forum website there is no mention of China but the other major Ariel resellers are listed there.

Looks like a hunk of junk to me. No inboard shocks? REALLY!?

I wonder if they'll sell the fabric cover for the seat. Looks pretty nice.

^That would explain the lack of a front radiator or openings in the nose. What I don't understand is the abandoning of the inboard shocks. Maybe they crammed a billion D cells up there...Ha!
The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)

I think the best explanation is someone bought an Atom or frame in china and modified it for the double hoops and shocks and then (I wasnt sure but heard about it perhaps being electric) did the conversion. So this is wrightspeed a la China

I think having the website on the side makes you wonder if the factory did it themselves and caused the confusion.

I sure like the side pods. I think they look better than the v8. Not so much on the skinny tires, outboard shocks and loss of the rear hoop cowl though

I'd love to hear more about the electric conversion though.
