Atom 3 Arrived - See Pics. Have CA insurance Q

Hello All. I just registered for the site. My Atom 3 got delivered last Friday to Sector 111 in Southern California and is currently in queue to get licensed for road use. I think it turned out pretty cool, no? (see attached photos)

Can anyone be of assistance in recommendations on insurance companies who will extend full coverage on the car in CA? I have a perfect driving record, but my insurance agent is having a hard time getting in covered. Well, maybe a "hard time" is being a bit dramatic, but it hasn't been a slam dunk like we thought it would be.

Any assistance you guys can be would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to getting to know some of you over the next few months. If anyone wants to meet us for a drive in Southern California...I'm down. There are some great roads around my house (Malibu).

I had progressive in the past and they cover kit cars (call it a kit car, not an Atom and that should work)

Who is the other one that was working lately? Leland? Classic? I cant remember.

Great looking car. Congratulations! I love the shower cap over the steering wheel.

I'd be careful of Progressive. If you tell an untruth by omission I bet they wouldn't honor the policy. I had Progressive and as soon as they realized they were insuring an Atom they dropped me like a well-greased baby and had no remorse backing out of the contract. Left me high and dry. When they did that I canceled all of my policies with them and won't ever go back.

Be warned.
