Hey!! I know that track like the back of my hand..... Watkins Glen!! A lap under 2 minutes is very fast there....man,those lines he is taking are terrible..and ..gulp..he almost hit the Armco out of turn 9..yikes! (not to mention a shortcut in the bus stop..)

There's WAYYY too much tire noise. My soft compounds never made much noise unless I was totally sideways headed into the weeds. It sounds about right for no SC but the RPMs don't climb fast enough after corner exits. 4th gear should be pretty snappy. 5th and 6th not so much. The gear changes are pretty snappy too for a manual 6 speed using stock Honda clutch and flywheel I don't shift that fast but I'm not bangin' gears either. Needs more wind buffetting at anything over 80 mph since it's got no gunsight/bubble/windshield. Other than that it looks pretty good.

I work in modeling and simulation and when you try harder and harder to simulate reality everthing comes under more scrutiny and it's easier to find nits to pick at. If it's a lo-fi sim then it's held to a lower standard. Besides I don't have a game console to play C.A.R.S. on so what basis do I have for comparison? It was 32˚F this morning and I drove the Atom. Cold, dark, no grip and still better than a simulator.

The link above is to the beta site. You can pay to download and plan beta updates (I think it is PC). It gives you access to the forum as well and there is a forum dedicated to the ariel cars. It costs about $13 to test the beta though the beta does not have the Atom

I have no PC just Mac. The PCs are at work and I doubt they'd appreciate me DLing games to their hardware. Oh well.
