GoPro for $199

There has been an ebay seller that was blowing them out for 199 each and i missed it then (they sold like 200+ of them in a few days). This got posted on one of the other car forums and when I saw it i jumped on it. So I got one for 199 + no shipping. I bet others did as I did which was post it up.. yaddie yaddie yada and they raised the price. drat!

atom plus windshield plus iphone4 plus the app called harry's lap timer....best thing you can get

ok iphone 4S will be better

The gopro is a cool little camera, It bests the iphone in that it is better HD video and the case is waterproof so it can be mounted on the outside of a car. Also the wide angle lens is nice. I bought mine to use when snorkeling since the case will take 160' underwater and the 3 other underwater cameras I've had have all died when using underwater.

very true on these things,

I only have the SD version and don't bother using it anymore b/c it doesn't record in widescreen, and the batteries last a whopping 20 minutes before they die.....and when it's mounted on the roll hoop it's difficult to see if it's recording or not so I keep hitting the record button but it does the opposite of what I thought, ending the day with crappy videos......but that's user issues

having the case is awesome, and they do make waterproof cases for the iphone, but I don't know that they integrate with any type of mounting system.

the iphone 4s will match the video recording resolution of the best go pro, but, it won't be wide angle lensed....and not sure who is using a better optics system.

I really like the harry's lap timer app, more so than the fact that it's on the iphone, so I was more trying to promote the app so people know that it exists, because for $15 or $20, you're getting the integration of the track map, g forces / speed that you'd pay $2000 for with a full system
