Hey Folks, I'm John, I have been slowly learning to find my way around the racetrack in the spec race atom series at VIR. I was totally new to the track this year and it has been a blast. Kudos to all the people at TMI for a great series. I live about 7 hrs from the track and have been driving down for race weekends with my son. The ariel is not the most forgiving car on the track and certainly has a different personality than my e39 M5 so I have had plenty to learn. If anyone has questions regarding the spec atom series from the perspective of a 51 year old novice let me know.

Hi John and welcome. I'm was in the same boat. I came from front engine heavy cars too and it took a while to get the hang of this car. Best thing I got was some tutelage from a Porch guy on how to drive a rear engine car.
