    Edit with Firefox

    Add smileys with Firefox.

Edit works 100% with Firefox...but not Internet Explorer...

The power of an Atom is a terrible thing to waste! Atom owner/operator since 2007. The more you chase perfection, the faster it becomes. John Force for President! (I asked him once in person...he laughed)

That's a good thing. IE is crap. use Firefox of Chrome. Even at work I was able to hack Chrome onto my locked down computer since they still use IE6.

Really strange. I confirm issue with IE8. Checking VBulletin support boards to see if they have any fixes pending. This version was released to address some security issues, so I hate to have to revert. I'll keep you guys updated.

In addition to the other breakage, inserting smilies by clicking on any of them to the right of the post text entry box doesn't do anything. IE8, Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

I would think that if vBulletin broke IE8 support, more people would be talking about it. Is it possible that the theme you're using or any local changes are doing this? Does vBulletin let the side admin create a test version with a different (or no) skin, so you can easily test this?

    Perhaps it is a passive-aggressive anti-IE dig on someone's part? :P
