totally, it only makes sense, because, they "feel" they will lose quality or uniqueness if they become big, that's the only reason to not want to make money, STILL A STUPID REASON if you ask me.

If you grow, and grow right, everything can stay the same.....plus they'd probably reduce the wait time in the UK from 18 months to 2 months.

I dont think selling merchandise is considered growing too big. How many cars does TMI have on order? It cant be 500. Why not let them maintain the business and pay workers by selling merchandise. They aren't going to make money selling parts. Like wider fenders that I asked about a year ago. Oh well, Im not the customer they want. They want someone that buys a new Atom every few years, does no modification, gets $200 air filter changes and considers the car perfect.

I've talked to four or five manufacturers of Exocars about the meterial and labor costs to build one of these things.
I don't think there is nearly enough profit in the clothing and similar merchandise for them to be seriously interested. The cars are much simpler to make a lot of money on.
