TMI is also selling conversion kits so I heard so that you can use the new fasteners on an atom 2.

Yeah, I talked to them about it. It involves drilling out the rivets from the existing ones and re-riveting. That's a bit more work than I wanna do, but that is an option for anyone wanting to go that route

I saw a new honda atom 3 the other day, looks like the "handle" of the fastener makes a smaller loop which had I had those I would have probably not damaged my brand new nose bonnet the first time I installed it.........due to brammo drilling holes on the wrong spot.

and the place on ours where you can use a flathead to turn it, on theres is flat or even dished perhaps, I didn't look that closely.

I've managed to lose a couple of my fasteners, and have found a source for 100.

They're $1.265 each, and I would buy some if some of you other Atom 2 owners were interested in splitting them with me.

We can all have some spares without having to drill out rivets or other such insanity.

Anyone else interested?

I went through every distributor on southco's site and none are retail that carry these. have you tried TMI?

I'll take a dozen or two. I lost 4 when the GM dealer reassembled my Atom in Indianapolis in 2010, and then I gave most of my spares to Tom Smurzynski.
