Here's my dyno sheet. Red is with the factory intake setup, blue is with a straight intake. A few observations:
- The factory Ariel intake is TERRIBLE. I picked up 14hp *untuned* with a straight intake with a bevel on it, and at least 500rpm of powerband. I'll be fabbing a 3" intake under the driver side shock with a good filter and sock.
- The factory header is TERRIBLE. I'll be getting another header built over the winter and should pick up ~20hp.
- These numbers are for a basic, safe tune. There is probably 5-10hp more in it with timing and fine tuning across the powerband; however, I did want to spend 6 hours getting the tune perfect and then redo the intake and exhaust.
- I'm quite happy with the numbers. The car will outrun my supercharged viper, and it would take a 150 shot or more on my 383 z06 to run with it. It's spooky fast.
- Well built motors > superchargers on stock blocks
