I'm in Pocatello, ID tonight, as expected. Not a lot to report about today's travels - 290 miles on Interstate 84.

For your ears, why not go with a running headband over the ears? Will keep you warm and not bother your head? Should be about $2 at any walmart or sporting goods store.

The problem is that I can barely fit my ears in the helmet now. I've got recesses cut in the helmet cheek/ear pads for my Autocom headphones, and it takes me a bunch of tries (usually about a half a dozen) to get my eyeglasses seated properly on my ears.
Unfortunately, the local motorcycle shop was staffed by a non-rider and she couldn't help me. She said the owners were "in the hospital". I hope they're Ok.
