I drove by bonneville. yup, there it is.. kept on going. Believe it or not, it was actually raining on me going through the salt flats.

140ish on the track. Positron's car is tuned within an inch of its life, on much higher octane fuel (E85). He was running less boost and I'd say our cars were very comparable in straight line speed. In the turns, he was killing me.

    yes.. and no.

My gopro camera battery was not charged on the first outing. Got 9 seconds of video. So I charged it, and took another video.. and then another. And then deleted the first video.

Well, apparently when you do this on a gopro, all your files are screwed up. I'm getting a error -2002 bad atom error. Which at first I thought was pretty funny.. how do you know this is from an atom, and how is it bad?

I've tried various things to restore the videos. I've tried compressing and uncompressing the files. I've tried this:

I've tried begging the files to work. Nothing seems to fix them. Best I've been able to get is some severly corrupted video that jumps all over the place.

I wish I could get the video going. There are some really sweet passes folks made on me in the middle of corners, sometimes stealing my apex in the process. I quickly learned to either just ignore them, or point by early, as these guys had zero tolerance or patience....
