    Ford GT or Gallardo?

I have been going back and forth between these two cars for a year or so. Get my mind set on one for a month, then go back to the other. My plan with either car is to have Undergroung Racing do a TT build on it.

Here are my pros and cons on each

    Ford GT-

Pros-Value keeps going up, so resale should be fine. Even when you mod these you seem to get your money back out of them. A true american beauty with lots of history. TT for these are fairly inexpensive. If you blow the motor, so what, its just a small block Ford.

Cons-Prices are getting ridiculous and it is hard to find a decent deal. Where I live there are probably 25 to 30 of them. I know that doesnt sound like much, but our population is only 110000. One guy has 6, and all of them are TT cars but one

    Gallardo

Pros-Lets face it, a TT all wheel drive Lambo would be freakin nuts! The sound that a TT Gallardo makes is out of this world. Its 1000hp that you can actually use on the street. I love the interior of a 08 Superleggaro. In my opinion, it is the most balanced high HP car you can have next to the Veyron.

Cons-Italian exotic=$$$$$$$$$$$ for maintenance. I want the egear and I am not sure they have it totally figured out for high HP. Values are still dropping and TT builds are a pretty steep loss for resale.

So what do you guys think?

If I was me I'd get the Ford. But that's because I think the lambo looks like sports compact.

With my top-fuel-damaged hearing, that is the only way I can hear when to shift!!

    no contest

One day I will purchase a heritage GT. I just haven't found the right one at the right time. It would be a no brainer for me..............

There will always be a newer/badder Gallardo but it is very unlikely there will be another GT

    The GT is better looking

The GT is much less common

Disclaimer: I have a GT and would not sell it for anything!

You will never regret the GT. I know of several people who had one, sold and then bought another because they missed it.

A friend of mine up here in Seattle, who is a serious Ferrari collector (I'm talking Pebble-beach winning serious), has the first 2005 GT that Ford delivered. He owns some of the most rare and amazing cars on the planet... and he loves driving his GT.
