Good place to tap switched power?

I need switched power for my SPA oil pressure/temp gauge. Any suggestions on where is a good place to tap in that is better than my $66 cigarette lighter wiring?

    Thanks,
    Jason

For small loads like that, just take it off the switched side of the ignition switch. For larger loads, install another relay in the fuse/relay box and trigger it with either the ignition switch or something in the powertrain circuit, which comes on even later than the ignition switch.

That'll work perfect, gauge pulls 100ma, or something like that. Thanks Terry.
