Self canceling turn signals

Here's my next project. I got a self cancelling turn signal module
that I'll attach to a momentary switch on the dash. Should be an easy
wiring job. A fast flip will keep them on for 7 seconds, holding it 2
second will keep them on for 20 seconds. and 4 switch will keep them
on for 40 seconds. So far spent $80 I see the uk option cost $250 for some reason

I have the UK version sitting in a drawer. It became less and less of a priority as I learned more and more to self apply the "off" button.

I got it installed tonight after about 30 minutes of work. works like a charm. I can provide a wiring diagram if someone wants to do the same thing to bypass the built in signal flasher. It does not make a clicking sound anymore though.

If you hold it down for a few seconds does it flash longer?

on for 40 seconds. that's why I used the self centering switch

The module is actually pretty small 1/2 the size of a credit card. (my steering shaft has impetigo apparently)

That doesn't look all that bad. And a hell of a lot cheaper. Is it waterproof?
