Glad to see there is another place to talk Atoms.
Just to refresh your memories, I have a Brammo Atom 2 supposedly with 245hp, and I want more power.

Hi Mav, welcome
Maverick? Did your parents not like you or something?
I can't resist an easy Top Gun reference.
Welcome, Mav. If you're looking for performance upgrade ideas, you've come to the right place. Great to have you with us.
Change your flag Mav, I'm pretty sure you're Canadian, correct?
Darth, actually I'm dual so I guess I can fly both flags.
Darth I have a question for you.
You posted this on another thread about a guy with a 650hp Atom.
"A car like that on the track is no fun.. I've been there, don that. You can't get any speed coming out of a corner, you're either out of boost, or so deep into boost the car spins.
(and yes, part of this is me being a hater.. my car is still in pieces but the missing piece to make it all work is in route)"
Are you referring to your Atom turbo conversion, meaning that your turbo'd Atom is not good on the track because of turbo lag making track driving scary, hard to control?
I'm asking because I am thinking about going the turbo route, but if it makes the car twitchy and difficult to control on the race track, maybe I should consider something else.
You said "my car is still in pieces but the missing piece to make it all work is in route".
Can you explain what this means?
I'm asking this because I'm not the most experienced track driver and if turbocharging the Atom will make the car even more of a handful on track, I need to think this out more carefully.
All I know is that my Atom is not as thrilling to drive as it used to be because I am used to it's power.
I always thought you were really happy with the way your turbo Atom performed on the track. Never heard anything about a control issue. When you say "been there done that" it sounds negative, like you are not happy with the car and you want to change it.
Just curious what you mean.
All I'm looking for is around 350hp at the wheels with a turbo. Nothing crazy.
Would something like that be good/controllable on track?

"Opportunities do not come to those who wait; they are captured by those who attack."
Thanks for the welcome guys.
Hey Gage it was nice seeing you again at the Atom meet up in San Francisco and Laguna Seca.
That run through the Redwood forest was amazing.
Welcome Mavrick,
I, too, am looking for a little more power. I am hoping to accomplish this without reinventing the wheel. I have the sector 111 "'upgrades" and Tom's aftercooler. Just got a Harrop and hoping that with the injectors and a good tune I am content.............
Let us know what you decide to do!
