Good to know.
I went with a Full Throttle FT230 by Fullriver Battery Mfg. Co. Ltd. which is an Odyssey PC680 substitute. AGM, 230 CCA (unspecified temperature), 7.13" L x 3.03" W x 6.57" H, 15.43 lbs, M6 screw posts. Paid $123 via eBay. Drops right in.
I can't really endorse this battery since it hasn't gone through a winter yet, but so far, so good.
The Braille B2015 looks like it would be a great battery. It's an actual car racing battery (cranking amps comparable to a full-size car battery). CCA is 425 at 0 deg. F, but the case is a bit larger than the Odyssey PC680 and the Full Throttle FT230. I'm not sure if it will drop all the way down to the bottom of the battery compartment of my Atom 2. It's about $200.
The manual charger I've been using may have degraded the performance of the prior battery. It's hard to say. I think I need to use an autoatic charger or disconnect the battery or maybe install a cut-off switch.
