    Clutch replacement

Some pics from my clutch replacement. I had my exedy clutch explode on the dyno a couple of months ago. I finally got the replacement sorted last week. Exedy was cool and replaced it. Unfortunately the engine has to come out to get the transmission off. I tried, even removed the whole corner but the frame is in the way.

That's a bummer Bolus. Best of luck getting it back together with minimal "extra" issues

    Re: Clutch replacement

oh, I should mention the bolt pattern on the flywheel bolts will only fit one way. Even though it looks like 8 symmetrical holes they only line up one way. Almost tossed the flywheel out of the garage thinking it was the wrong one since I could not get the bolt holes to line up.

also, always replace the slave cylinder. Though mine looked fine when I tried to unbolt it, it popped apart like a jack in the box as seen in the last pic.

This is hard work especially when doing it by yourself. I still have a million things to do.
