Came across this free case of Valvoline VR1 Racing oil. Expires May 31, 2011.

As frequently as I change oil.. Free is worth a try. Also liking the higher zinc content for sustained high rev application.

cool, problem is I need 9 quarts and this covers 6 and I just changed my oil

Oh come on... 2/3rds free and oil is a million years old six months on the shelf won't hurt it in the bottle.

Buy 6 now for free and next oil change buy 3 instead of 9.

Picked up case today and found out from parts guy it's not recommended for cats because of extra zinc.

Dunno I'm killing birds not having one but saving planet with E85 so they cancel each other out.
