Years ago I had the opportunity to determine the corner weights/balance of my AA3 without the driver. Recently I was inspecting my car and noticed the shocks had different travels/rocker arm geometries left and right. I realized this was probably due to some prior adjustments I'd made. With further thought, I decided to finally breakdown and actually go thru the corner weighting process and correct these obvious discrepancies. The first step with this was to thoroughly understand the process. My investigations on the internet revealed that much of the information is aimed at either single-seat formula cars or heavier cars with the driver being a much smaller percentage of the vehicle's total weight. With this, and my findings, it became apparent that much of this information is misleading.
It took me a while to fully understand all of the interrelated elements of the AA3 suspension and adjustments. I'm sharing this thinking it might help others, both with identifying concerns and adjusting their suspensions.
