BWRWP auto-x event on 10/20/19

Attn; CA Atom owners. There is an SCCA auto-x event on October 20 (Sunday), 2019 @ Buttonwillow Raceway kart track. I'm planning on attending. Here's the motorsport.reg page to sign-up. Well, Im not going to the SCCA event after all. I'm going to this one https://www.facebook.com/omegamotors...type=3&theater The event is a bit cheaper and there are NO CLASSING AND NO WORK ASSIGNMENTS. That plus it's unlimited runs. Someone in the last event ran over 40 runs. FWIW, I heard the top time in the 5 classes (Euro, import, domestic, FTD and fastest ladies) get a victory lap driving the Omega Motorsports owners Porsche GT3. I'm going the day before (Friday) and stay in Buttonwillow. I hope to see and least one other Atom owner attend.

Bummer not to see any other Atoms at this event. I had a great time as I'm sure some of you guys would have. I took fastest Euro and had 2nd fastest time of the day Here are a couple links to the my runs; one where I had a drone following me and the other where I had a little too much or not enough of something that caused me to go 2 wheels off into a spin. Here is the run where the drone is following. You're doing a monologue on here too, lol.

It appears to me that you were on the throttle pretty much going straight, the rear end broke loose and went left, you didn't catch it quite quickly enough to keep the car from pointing to the right and you then drove off into the dirt. Looks like they need to clean that track off.

Lots of power for the grip available. Reflexes were great, the rears were just overwhelmed by the throttle input. Tire warmers would help.

Gotta love how fast a light car stops once you lose control!

I guess a more accurate statement would be that the car didn't appear to respond to your correction quickly enough...

You definitely seemed to be at a loss for grip.
