My temp gauge is all over the place at one point reading 440 degrees. Anyone know where to get one or the part number? The car is a 2012 A3 with supercharged K20A. Is there more than one sensor? I only see one on drivers side that when disconnected shuts off the dash gauge

TMI had one and it turns out it is from a MG Rover and England has them available. The goofy part is that this temp sensor sits in a spot that doesn't have any coolant running through it and the engineer at TMI knows it but I haven't had a chance to find out how that is possible as I have always heard that a temp sensor has to be immersed in the coolant flow to read correctly.
