    Potential So Cal GTG event

I just came across this on my FB feed. It seems like I neat place to check out other makes like ours and maybe meet-up with other Atom owners. I'd be willing to make the trip just to meet/see other Atom and their owners. What say you?

What makes you think there will be other Atoms there?

One of the guys on here left his Atom in a hotel parking lot overnight and it wouldn't start the next morning. He couldn't figure out what the problem was immediately and had it towed to a shop. Turned out some douche reached in and unplugged whatever harnesses he could reach.

You'll probably have 1/4-turn fasteners and other parts missing too. I never leave my car unattended anywhere, and certainly not overnight. That's one of the down sides of Atom ownership.

I'll likely drive down the day of since it starts @ 1000 am, I can leave early in the morning and get there in plenty of time. If I do elect to stay, I'll likely tow it down the day before in an enclosed trailer, take it out for the day then load it up and drive home.

I was thinking about driving down for this. What about we add a track day to a local track, so, I have a reason to tow the Atom down?

I would be game if we combine it with track time

This event is right around the corner and I'm still in to attend. I'll be coming from Fresno, probably the day before (Saturday) and spend the day @ Downtown Disney then to the hotel.

Just an FYI, there are 5 Atom owners including myself on the FB Ariel Atom page who are committed to attend. If you're on the fence, jump off and jump in.

As an FYI, for those that are concerns about their atoms staying overnight in a hole parking lot, I contacted the Museum and asked if it was possible to bring in the Atom the day before so it could be secured overnight. They claimed it wouldn't be a problem. Looks like it's going to be a nice event and a great way to meet and socialize with others who are crazy as you are, lol.
