I'm using a bluetooth OBD II reader - OBDLink MX, with RaceChrono Pro. I also saw it on the list in Flashpro, so if you have that you can datalog it that way.

-Go-fast options: none
-Modifications: none
-Warning/failure: low oil pressure in high G turns shutting off VTEC, upped oil weight and overfilled to fix
-Anything that strongly influenced results:
*tire retaining barrier added in turn 12 makes for slower laps
*had old and new wheels mismatched with different width/offset on front
-Feedback or notes:
- Speed: 52.7 mph to 127.3 mph, average of 89.1
- Lateral G: 1.6 to -1.4
- Engine speed: 4,109 rpm to 8,214 rpm, average of 6,145 rpm
- Coolant temp: 174* to 180*
- Intake temp: 72* to 75*
This run was with NASA in TT, I led the grid so I was able to get a clean lap or two in. Weather was perfect and tires were new. There is a second or two left in it especially if the tire retaining wall is removed. The new engine makes 59whp and 29 wtq extra compared to stock. The car is a bit heavier than stock due to large Laguna Seca friendly muffler and larger wheel/tire package. Overall it's about 10 mph faster on the straight. See my old run here on stock engine: https://www.arielatomchat.com/forums...html#post23525 but subtract 2 seconds from that time as the track had no bypass in that configuration.

Go Pro battery was dead but got this video of a slightly slower lap

-Warning/failure if any:
-Anything that strongly influenced results (e.g. corded tires, rock met face): it rained the day before so the track was very cold and wet in places, especially turn 3 where some spun out. Tires were definitely not up to temp, nor was the concrete grippy. Water running in turn 3 required a different line. Hoosiers at 20 heat cycles.

-Warning/failure if any:
-Anything that strongly influenced results (e.g. corded tires, rock met face): Fronts were at 30 heat cycles, rears were at 5 heat cycles, understeer ensued. Driver had a terrible cold, so this is far from the best that can be eked out even by this guy.
-Feedback or notes:
- Speed: 43.6 mph to 126.2 mph, average of 84.3 mph
- Lateral G: 1.91 to -1.71
This particular layout/track is favorable to high power cars. Some McLarens will do well in excess of 160mph vmax. Even so, I started second on the grid this session, past the first guy and no one caught up to me. The Atom can really handle some big machinery!

awesome driving!!! I kept rewinding certain corners as some you took absolutely perfect. thanks for the vids
Excellent job!!
I was watching the seca track CCW. That’s the vid I was referring to. Great driving and very aggressive
Gotcha. Thanks! I can't wait to get back on that one when it's dry. Curious to see how far up the pecking order an Atom can get. Laguna Seca is imo the best measuring stick as you have a best time from a pro to compare against for almost every sporty vehicle whether racecars or production cars. Right now the best Atom time is 1:32.X which is on par with the Corvette C7 ZR1.
