Is anyone else interested in a track day early November? It will be my first track day with the Atom and think it would be great to see some other Atom owners there.

I'm the other side of the country else would look at going. The one time I've met up with another Atom owner at the track was a total blast running nose-to-tail, loved it. Do you have previous track experience in other car(s)? I transitioned from a Vette, which I had tracked for years, to a SRA this spring. My first session in the Atom was interesting - I remember thinking 'what have I got myself into'. Very stiff, very darty and the throttle is an on/off switch (at least the SRA is that way). But once I got use to those attributes I wouldn't change a thing, absolutely love it. The car is extremely responsive to inputs - its really the ultimate drivers car - it does exactly what you tell it. Have fun and post your thoughts after the event.

The other car that I've taken to the track is my Mazdaspeed3. I'm pretty sure tracking the Atom will be a completely different experience with lots of "what have I done??" moments.

I'm definitely lookin forward to it as I sort through some of the details such as gloves and tow hooks.
