SOLO2 DL support for SRA?

Has anyone installed an AIM Solo2 DL lap timer/data logger in their Spec Race Atom? I haven't managed to find anyone who has done it with the Solo DL or Solo2 DL with working ODBII data. I've seen on this forum a question asked about which ECU model to select, but there wasn't an answer.

I have a Solo1 with a Bluetooth OBD adapter. I got an OBD splitter cable for like 15 bucks off amazon. Have the OBD to the AIM and Bluetooth OBD.

I also HIGHLY Recommend a Garmin VIRB30 camera. It has GPS built in and records the telemetry itself. Waaay eaisers then syncing up gopro video to AIM data directly.

Thanks, Jeff. Great videos! The second one had the throttle working (flat was 99%) where the previous one the throttle didn’t get above 77%. That’s the Solo ODB integration I’m curious about. The Solo2 has direct ODB integration, but I think you have to tell it what ECU its connecting to so it can do the translations. Did you have to do this? If so, which ECU did you pick?

I don’t think the SRA has brake sensors, but I would like to have brake telemetry too. Have you ever looked into that?

I'm using RaceCrono Pro with 10hz GPS receiver and OBD II reader. There is no sensor for anything brake related.

After wrestling with Harry's Laptimer and the VIDEO 4, I ended up using RaceCrono. It's just so easy and reliable. Working the Go Pro into it next track day and then I'm done with telemetry.

Has anyone figured out how to log oil pressure or oil temp on an SRA?

I just took possession of my SRA. I have the Solo2 DL installed, and played around with various Honda ECU options. The one that seems to work best is ECU "Honda Civic Type R FK 2". It gives me:

Throttle %
RPM
Oil T
Water T
Gear

I haven't fully verified this (from my garage), but I'm getting what appear to be correct readings. I've sent an inquiry to TMI to find out the best way to get the CAN bus/ECU mapping data into Race Studio via my Solo2 DL. I'd really like to get the specs on every channel available in the ECU, but need TMI's help.

I have #34 with Honda K20. Love it!!

If you guys manage to get oil temp out, I'd love to see the water vs oil temps. I don't have the tech to monitor oil but perhaps I can extrapolate based on what you see.

Anybody using the CAN interface to hook up their Aim Solo or Solo2 DL? I have the OBD interface, but wondering if CAN would provide more data (and more reliable data, for that matter).
