I was going to go over to a local shop to fab the lights last night, but instead cracked a bottle of champagne and enjoyed the Osama coverage. Will get em done this week.
I did finish my rear plate, plate light, rain/safety light, and reverse light mount over the weekend. I'm pretty happy with it, looks way better than the stock one. Pics soon.
Thanks for the advice guys.

Here's my plate solution. Simple, lightweight, and cheap. The reverse light is on top of a safety/rain light. The bolts for the plate have a downward facing LED to light the plate, and amber LEDs for turns on the ends facing rearward. I'm using rubber washers/spacers between the frame and the mount, and will be putting foam between the mount and plate to stop vibration.
Lights line up on the top tube.
I've trimmed the excess AL around the lights, and will be painting black soon.

I think that will look great Jason.

it caught my eye, b/c I was mounting my atom poster in the living room and the furniture underneath made it look crooked but it was the wall being out of square.
excellent build quality on these starter homes lol
Got everything ready for my welder to put on the stalks (I suck at welding):
This should be good for the plate up to about 160mph:
Also got my throttle rod fabed:

You definitely need to start a build thread. I'm very much looking forward to all your work (not just lights)![]()
