    process for pulling supercharger???

I'm running across problems pulling the supercharger from an Atom 2, any special tricks/process to wiggle the charger out?

edit; I got it out. It was a bear but it was a matter of wiggle and move and wiggle and move and pop, it's out. Next up, the manifold.

Let's see a build thread of sorts! I get super excited hearing about superchargers.

No, it's just a pain to pull out. I had the same issue with it when I had the ecotech motor in my 2.

Well, I got the supercharger off and now I’m working on the intake manifold. Had to disconnect the air/water tubes. Now it’s a matter of reaching all the bolts & nuts holding the intake manifold on. Not gonna be too difficult but I know it's going to be a wiggle and tug process to get it out, like the supercharger. After that it’s all about pulling the fuel pump and filter neck to replace the gaskets with E-85 safe gasket material and E-85 high flow fuel pump. Here’s just a quick shot of some of the toys going in Captain Proton. I ordered a Link Fury stand alone ECU and will have that wired in w/a true IAT (welded in after the heat exchanger in the intake manifold), a flex fuel sensor as well at a true fuel pressure sensor and a new WB02 (Bosche 4.9). The ECU will control new ID 1050's. A new thread and more pics to follow.

Cool seeing the stag horn exhaust manifold that has not destroyed itself. Original muffler as well? I didnt any would survive this long. I think my muffler died after a year.

The muffler is toast but the pipe is still sound. However it's coming off soon too. 2.25 inch ID is too small for a 2l motor, let alone one that's force fed. I'm moving up to a 2.5 inch ID and having the 3 bolt flange removed and replaced with V bands to allow for movement. Also, I'll be running E85 most of the time so thermal load on the exhaust will be reduced prolonging its life.
