I'm trying to figure out what the highlighted On/Off switch (see attached picture) on my new (to me) Spec Racer Atom does. Anyone?

looks like the power feed to lap timer
Thanks for the response cvjoint. I take it your SRA doesn't have that switch. Its not for the lap timer unfortunately. The race logic laptimer you see to the right gets its power from the Video Vbox. Which comes on with the ignition switch.
Your dash looks a little different than mine. Could that be the "Rain Light"?
My SRA does have that switch. It even says "data on," via a sticker sitting by it. It's a power cut off to the Video4 laptimer. My SRA was a "drive an Ariel atom experience Atom" at AMP so perhaps it was optioned a bit differently than yours but that's what mine has in that location.
There is a good chance you have something custom there. See, all Atoms are individually crafted, no two the same! :P
Rain light is going to be the turn knob that is back lit just above the brake balance knob.

Hmmm...I'm learning what you say is true: no two the same.
If I understand correctly, my SRA (chassis #34) did not originally have the VBox Lite in it. It was added later. Thus its possible (probable) that whomever wired it in didn't use that switch and instead wired it up to the ignition on switch (which kind of sucks - the data recorder is always on).
Usually not a problem since SRA's won't kill a battery in the paddock between sessions. However, definitely a problem if you drop off car for service as shops won't be as careful and kill your battery. Happened to me even with the data switch off.
