Just got an AA 3S turbo, looking for info, hope to be able to contribute as well.

I had a 350z, wonderful commuter, tight, solid, just a joy to drive.
Got a 91 nsx w/ blower, made the 350z seem like a boat.
Got a Rossion Q1, really nice power/weight ratio, so nimble, quick, and light, same ride height as nsx, made the nsx seem like a boat.
Got an AA3, and it somehow manages to make the Q1 seem like a boat. Did not think it would be possible going into it, but the difference is really that big.
Welcome! Nice car. It's no wonder how the Atom makes the Q1 feel like a boat. It must weigh about 900 lbs less.
Thanks! The new Q1's are lighter, mine's 2750, so about half the weight.
I didn't notice the difference so much going forwards, but really noticed it going backwards. IOW, first time going from Q1 to AA3, I was like, yeah, this is pretty nice. After driving AA3 for a month and going back to the Q1, I was stunned.
So 1400 lbs lighter. That's huge.
I know what you mean. I experience the same thing after driving the Atom for a half hour and then driving a normal car into the first corner. Normal cars begin to feel like something you don't want to throw around any more because they might get away from you. You really get tuned into noticing mass. Driving an Atom really is more like driving a kart than a car.
The other funny thing is that the lowness of the Atom makes you feel like you're going faster than you really are. I'll drive what I think is the 35 mph speed limit and look at the speedo when other cars come up behind me and I'm only going 25, so ironically I tend to drive the Atom slower than I drive my other cars when driving around town.
