If I was not so busy putting a turbocharger on my new (to me) Pro Formula Mazda, and converting it to methanol, I would sit down and take the time to do an ad for my last remaining Atom. It may well be the most developed/sorted, Atom available. With SERIOUS AERO, belly pan with brushes, huge diffuser(shades of the new Ford GT, which was my inspiration) rear wing up and back in clean air like my other car-(0 to 323.74 mph in 4.520 seconds), etc. Lots of spares , upgrades, and R&D that you are unlikely to find anywhere else.

If you are serious about getting a really effective track toy, it would be worth your while to spend some time on the phone with me. I have hard data of track performance that you probably need to know if you are ready to make the plunge.

PM me for my phone number- my www.eddiehillsfuncycles.com dealership is closed this week for vacation.

Google "Eddie FourFather Hill" for info about the cars and boats I have set up and tuned.

    Thanks for looking,

    Eddie

Showing some of the development work I've done on my supercharged Honda K20a powered 2012 Ariel Atom 3, now for sale, with LOTS of wheels, tires, and upgrades.

    Cheers,

I wouldn't discount it that much for safety. The number one worry on track is rollover. I feel safer in a rollover in my Atom SRA than any of the cars I had before. I've seen many C7 Corvette Z06 roofs crushed in accidents, and my Honda S2000 had rollbars that were well under my skull height. By contrast the SRA has a fully welded in cage that is way thick for how much it weighs and very tall. The 6 point belt will hold be and has a steel tank designed for rollovers and reinforced pedal box. For side impact, the Atom has rather thick steel bars, the S2000 had some but the Corvette just had a flimsy composite door.

While we are on the subject, when one of my prior cars caught on fire on track I did not have a fire extinguisher whereas the SRA comes with one stock and it's super easy to access.

To top it all, I trust the Honda powertrain to stay in one piece and not blow out chunks of the bottom end like others do. That too is safety.

I made the mistake of going to the dealer and seeing a 3S in the flesh. They took me out for a ride in it. I am presently looking into the value of my kidneys. I must have one.

As an AA2 owner, I would say $50k is not unreasonable depending on specification, use and care. The price it takes to get into an Ariel is only going up and 2nd hand prices will reflect the finite supply of Atoms.

    Good luck with your search.
