Excited new Atom owner

Hello, hello, hello.
My name is Ernie and I’m from western Pennsylvania. I have a nicely built Subaru WRX STI that I blew the engine twice already at track days. During the second engine build I found a 2013 Atom SRA #0055. Since I bought it very late in the season, I’ve only been able to take it to 1 autocross event and I took it down the drag strip once just to see what it would do. Long story short, this thing is a blast to drive. I’m definitely hooked!

I will be looking for fenders and a windshield soon.

I also have a blue fia 2021 approved harness I would like to trade for an expired factory black Sabelt harness. The mismatched colors really bug me. And I doubt I'll be doing any serious racing anytime soon.

Ernie, I am also from Western PA (Carnegie Area) and have the SRA #21 car. I run with the SRA #52 . We are both Instructors at Pitt Race in Beaver Falls. If you have an interest in tracking the car at Pitt Race, I invite you to join us. You will need fenders to run with most groups. Windshields are very expensive and require a new dash and bonnet as well as the windshield. We do not have a windshield on our cars. Just use a full face helmet and you will be fine.

TMI has fenders but I think they are about $1500 for the set, Skunkworx is about $900 but you will have to wait forever for them so plan ahead. They don't seem to come up for sale very often so probably need to consider buying new.

Unfortunately the windshield is about $3,200.00. I was lucky to find one from an sra owner for about $1,800.00.

John, I’ve tracked my Subaru at Nelson’s and PittRace a few times already. I’m VERY excited to get my new Atom out there. I just watched your YouTube video. I believe I’ve seen that car out there before. I’ll definitely get a hold of you next season. I have a lot to learn about driving these cars coming from an all-wheel-drive Subaru.
