Hello everyone! My name is Carl and I currently reside in Montgomery, IL. I have a bit of track experience with my daily driver (HPDE days in my 2015 BMW 335i mostly) but want a dedicated track car.

I do not have room or desire for a tow vehicle and trailer so I would like to purchase something I could drive to the track. Does anyone know the in's and out's of getting an Atom legally registered in Illinois?

Also had questions about how easy it would be to purchase an SRA Atom and make the necessary changes to have it be street legal. What would need to be done, how expensive would that be? Pro's and Con's to this approach?
