Installing remote brake bias

Has anyone purchased and installed the tilton remote brake bias.

The factory is using

Tilton Standard Remote Brake Bias Adjuster
SKU: 72-508

The instructions show the nob mounted to a plate with 4 screws but I can see from pictures that Ariel UK and Ariel US/TMI is not using that.

From reading the install instructions I believe all Ariel does is drill a small hole for the cable and the mounting sleeve.

For safety reasons can someone please take a picture of the adjustment knob with the forward and back sticker?

also please let me know if the adjustment nut on the bias bar is on the right or left from the drivers seat.

Can some please confirm that the adjustment nut is on the right per the view from the drivers seat.

also please take a picture of the adjustment knob. My front master cylinder is in the middle which I believe meats moving the bar to the right and reducing the distance for the front means more bias toward the front.

David - I am about to install the remote bias adjuster on my Nomad. Did you ever confirm if the backing plate was needed? How did you end up installing it.

Backing plate was not needed. The “console” has 4 divit marks just like the backing plate so it just mounts straight on. Just use the locking nut on the back side and that is good to go. Search tiltons website for their video and pay close attention to the direction of the front to back adjustments that they show. It think it would be easy to get it backwards.
