I scrapped the bottom of my car's front wing today while parking. What is involved in repairing carbon fiber?
I have not looked at how bad it is but a quick glance and it looked like a coating was peeled off. Like a blister.

You can and can't repair CF, unlike fiberglass, the fibers in CF are not random so there is not way to restore the appearance. Depending on how mach damage, if its just surface, prep the surface, add clear epoxy resin, sand, polish. If it is actually damaged to the fiber, you will need a small piece of cf in addition to the epoxy. The repair process is really not that different than FG.

car's totalled!
jk sorry about the scrapte
I have been trying to upload some pictures but I cannot get the widget to work in Chrome or I.e. Edge.
it looks to just be the clear coat that was damaged.
Is there a certain type of epoxy that should be used or ask TMI what they use?
