a few things we've noted over there,

it's not the 3rd Brammo atom made, it's the 22nd, but it's serial number 3....which is in the 2nd run for Brammo when they started using those PINS

also the PIN and build sheet reflect a 245 where as the owner listed as a 300....this is potentially caused by a late change to the build and Brammo NOT changing the build sheet or PIN to match, this almost happened to me but I caught the mistake and had them correct the PIN to match.

Hopefully the sale goes well.

I emailed him. Lives real close to me, got his Atom the same month I did and I never knew he was in town.

except the 245 actually runs cooler.....and the 300 actually had a higher original cost,

but for output, no, no difference

It's the Ariel fudge factor. like the V8 and it's 500 hp which is actually 472 or something. Long as it is within 50 hp it's all the same, rite? hmmm still says 500 hp on the Ariel Website too. And Top Gear says it's 500 hp, obviously told by Ariel.... little bit of false advertising there for a quarter of a million dollar car....

mine is fudged too, as I now have 280whp....that's over 300 at the crank

I sent a bill to Ariel UK for the cost of my upgrades.

well, their name is on the car, not Brammo's. We never did get a official response from Ariel on the matter. Even though they took some of our money for it

Since I have not gotten super deep into the Atom yet due to a lack of money to buy one, how is this priced? Fair, good deal, expensive, other? If only I had about another year's worth of employment under my belt...
