Oh that's a great idea. I didn't realize that came in the standard build. My SRA doesn't have it and I can't see sh*t behind me!
That's the Autobahn mirror. Definitely comes in handy.

Just for giggles I ordered a pair of the convex eBay mirrors I linked to and have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised by the quality and the field of view. They arrived in 1 week and I will mount them and be using them for the next event. This may be the best $16 I ever spent…

I took the photo with the camera close to my face, with me in a driving position (back against the seat back) Pretty good field of view vs.straight glass, and very clear. I guess I was expecting the distorted view that the blind spot mirrors produce..which I don't care for.

Wow, huge difference! Show us the passenger side if you can. That's the side I have issues with.![]()

Tough to show the RH difference as I can't reach that far to hold the straight glass one up against the convex unit..but this is the convex mounted. Granted, all you see is a lot of clutter..but you see a LOT more clutter with the convex.I like these enough that I bought two more pair..hey for the price and quality, a steal! (actually I bought 3 pair as the third qualified for 15% off..ha! )

Bumping this up. My Atom arrived yesterday with a very worn out driver's mirror. The base is so worn out it can't hold the mirror and just droops and I'm missing the top screw. Does anything listed in this thread bolt to the SRA, and if so does it come with a fresh base?
Check out the Magazi cleaver mirror. Expensive but great quality and great customer service.

Mirrors where a huge problem for me as well. Last year I installed KC brackets to create outriggers for mirror to attach to. Looked kind of hocky but worked. Over winter I bought F1 mirrors off ebay and then made the rod assembly and used larger diameter a hardware. First day out seem to work ok. Total cost was $41 for mirrors and couple feet of 7/16" aluminum rod.
