Checking in from Green Bay, WI

Well, let me get a few formality's out of the way first:

    • Randy (Watson) Tess
    • Green Bay, WI
    • I do not own an Atom at this time
    • If I did, I would post a picture of it here

I am here to listen and learn as I find this car fascinating. My intent is to acquire one in 2016.

    A bit about me:

Since my early teens I have been a bit of a car guy. My neighbor owned the Ferrari, Jag, Jensen Healey, MG, Triumph dealership back when I was in high school. I fell in love with the import sports car at 14...and still stuck with that passion some 40 years later.

Having owned MG's, Triumph's, Fiat's, Ferrari's, a couple of plane's and a wagon I find doing the restoration / routine maintenance as a labor of love and it serves a great stress reliever (usually) for me.

My current garage has two cars:
    1980 Triumph TR8 Convertible.
    1998 Ferrari 355 F1 Spider.

I do drive my cars with 3,500 miles on each during a season a pretty common number. I would hope to do the same with an Atom.

Let me apologize in advance for the silly questions I may ask as we move forward. Just know I am trying to learn and appreciate this marque as I look for an example to add to the stable.

    Hi, Randy, and welcome!

I've been an Atom owner since 2007.

After about three years of ownership and miles on the street and on the track, I was so in love with the Atoms that I became a dealer in 2010.

I currently have an '06, a 2012, and a new 2016 Turbo Atom, that I call my own, (or demonstrator/company cars), and for sale I have one new and one used SpecRaceAtom, one new 2016 Turbo Atom, and also the beautiful all-silver Turbo Atom that Road and Track did their road test with.

This is me running my streetable, two-seat, 2012 Ariel Atom 3 300HP demonstrator/company car, against single-seat race cars. At Hallett Motor Raceway, near Tulsa, Oklahoma.
