Maintenance/repair of Atom if not leaving near dealer - what do people do?

I live in SF Bay Area and thinking of purchasing Atom. There is no local dealer.

How do people in similar situation deal with repairs/maintenance (assuming they decide not to do it themselves)? I know most of drivetrain is not atom specific - but still...

This car basically made for people who a bit handy & has knowledge of mechanical.
But if you can't....
If its Honda engine.... as long as you have a wiring schematic a few local garage or tuner can help you....of course aside from Honda dealer.
Chassis problem? well that's the question. What is there to go wrong in the chassis unless you have an accident?
Alignment? any aligner can do it...bring your spec.

What else are u worrying?

Sector 111 is a few hrs south of you, if you ever needed any Atom specific support. Any reputable local repair/maintenance shop can handle working on an Atom.. It's really not an "exotic" vehicle to maintain...it just looks like you need to be a formula 1 technician...

Like Max stated, Sector 111 would be my first choice. The Atom's reliability speaks for itself and I would say that a yearly trip to Temecula, CA for an annual maintenance refresh is certainly warranted. If you are daily driving your Atom and will be needing more routine maintenance, any high end independent shop should be able to work on the car.
