Up Quark
Biggerer and Betterer
So I have 5 atombucks burning a hole in my pocket. What should I spend it on?
For those of you that don't know, Have an Ecotec '300', more or less 'stock'. Do have the Palatov bellcranks. Nothing else that wasn't a factory option.
So, what should I do to make my car nastier and meaner for about that much dough?
Enjoy?

Well I dunno... I like watches.
I have a Marathon GSAR on my wrist right now, and at home I have a nice victorinox Ambassador XL Chronograph (that I love, but the prices have come up so much lately that I'm afraid to wear it and possibly damage it)
Somehow I think this guy needs a turbo though. I have a GT2871R I'm selling for $500, has less than 10k miles on it. That leaves a lot of money for manifolds and stuff.

new pistons, turbo, intake, exhaust, tune, if you can get it done for $5000
maybe that's too much
cams, intake, exhaust, harrop, intercooler, tune,
wait probably still too much.
uprights and windshield
nope still too much.
donate your $5k to me

TURBO
that is the only answer
Dont spend a bunch trying to improve any power off the supercharger.

Is this where we say "driving lessons", since Bruce isn't actively participating here?
If it was me, and I was to do it all over again, I'd take that money and my car down to a shop that REALLY knows suspension, and have it done up right. It doesn't sound like as much fun as adding 100hp to the car, but having somebody that knows what they are doing go over the car, removing stiction, valving the shocks properly with the right springs, all that stuff... I'm betting there is a lot on the table.

To each his own, I would still stay with the supercharger. But, more importantly, if I hadn't found out about sapphire crystals, I would still be going through a watch every couple of years.
